St. Andrew's Dune Church

Historic St. Andrew's Dune Church is located on the beach along Gin Lane in Southampton. This garden area was formerly a road used by contractors to deliver sand and materials that were needed to rebuild the dunes after Hurricane Sandy.

The design goal was to create a natural area with waves of color that lead the eye to the dunes in the back.

The plant selection needed to include drought tolerant and deer resistant plants. We also wanted to attract pollinators.
